Terri Violet is the Republican State Representative for Missouri House District 104, representing St. Peters and the surrounding St. Charles County community she has called home since 1988. A U.S. Navy veteran and longtime community volunteer, Violet brings a lifetime of service to Jefferson City, where she has built a reputation for defending constitutional rights and standing up for Missouri families.

Before serving in the legislature, Violet was a St. Peters Alderman representing Ward 3 and remains deeply involved in her community as a Red Cross of Missouri representative, chaplain and military advisor to the St. Peters Veterans Memorial Commission, and founding member of the Mid America Veterans Museum in St. Charles County. She and her husband Jeff have been married more than 28 years and have two adult children and seven grandchildren.

In Jefferson City, Violet serves on the Children and Families, Veterans and Armed Forces, Local Government, and Crime and Public Safety committees. She sponsored HB 1827, signed into law in 2026, expanding who may certify a disability for disabled parking plates, and championed legislation to expand access to lifesaving epinephrine delivery systems. As she puts it, her focus is on “keeping our district on the right path,” defending constitutional rights, supporting veterans, and keeping taxes low so families and small businesses can thrive.
